Have you ever heard of the Butterfly Effect? Or the Chaos Theory? They basically mean the same thing - if a butterfly flaps its wings, the theory is that on the other side of the world it can cause a hurricane. It has never actually been proven, but that is why it is called a theory.
This is the best way to describe my family life. One small thing will happen, causing chaos and giggles and random acts of, for lack of a better word, Shaftoeness to occur.
My family consists of me, my husband Trev, our sons Jamie aged 7 and Alex aged 1, and our daughter Sophie aged 4. We also have another daughter, Katie who was stillborn in 2009. The final member of our chaotic family is our pet dog, Riley. He is a 2 year old collie spaniel cross and just runs round in circles chasing anything he can see!! His favourite game is catching a ball, which will distract him from absolutely anything, including cats and wild rabbits!!
Our extended family include the children's grandparents - Nanny Maggie, Grandpa Chris, Nana Pen, Grandad Si, Grandad Derek & Deb - and their godparents - Aunty Laura & Uncle Ben, Aunty Michelle and Aunty Saz. That's of course, not forgetting about all their other aunts and uncles - Rob, Chris, Vicky, Dee, Di!
With 3 children and a manic dog running around, I hope to keep you all entertained for years to come. I can assure you though, the last 7 years have been pretty comical already. Here's to the future and many more butterflies!
