Sophie's First Day At School

Sophie started school full time today. She was so excited - in fact she has wanted to go to school like Jamie since July, but sadly had to wait! She has only just turned 4, but seems more than ready. In fact, I didn't even get a goodbye this morning!! I am really looking forward to seeing her this afternoon and finding out how her day went.

At 5.30am this morning, she tried to get us all up so she could get her uniform on and go to school. We had to send her back to bed twice! She finally went back to sleep, but I managed to wake her at 7.20am. She rolled back over and told me she wanted to stay in bed, bless her, until I said that she had to go to school today. At this point, she leapt out of bed, screeched SCHOOL in my ear and jumped on me, making me fall on the floor backwards!! (Don't worry, I'm fine lol).

All this week she is having school dinners, but is looking forard to next week, when she gets to take her packed lunch in. Alex is enjoying her being at school it seems, aswell. He hasn't whined once, not even when he woke up from his morning nap with a full and very smelly nappy!
